The
Maan-soor dive club is located at the Maansoor Hotel, Berbera, and it is a PADI
5-star resort at the gate way to the reefs and seas of the Gulf of Aden. The
waters boast a unique marine habitat where the Red Sea, Gulf of Aden and Indian
Ocean come together. Dolphin, turtles and rays are regularly seen off the house
reef, and at certain times of the year we specialize in encounters with
whalesharks.
We can offer daily, weekend and weekly dive
packages, with a mix of shore diving and travel to the outer reefs in our dive
rib. We have a full range of equipment for hire, and air to 220 bars. We can
also offer PADI training from open water to instructor, plus “try dives” on the
house reef and adjacent shallow sandy bay.
The seas around Berbera offer diving superior
to that of the established Red Sea sites, and without the crowds. The diving can
be tailored to individual needs, and for weekly packages we offer unlimited
dives and air to qualified divers.
